About Us
Founded in 1993 as Enertech Maintenance Contractor, Enertech Sheet Metal Inc. (ESM) has come a long way from its humble beginnings in a small garage in Kitchener’s west end. Initially focusing on energy management and retrofit projects, our team of just two employees soon evolved to meet the demands of the sheet metal and HVAC industry. Today, ESM has grown into a trusted name, delivering expert craftsmanship and innovative solutions across Southwestern Ontario.
As our company expanded, so did our need for space. In 1995, we moved into a dedicated 3,000-square-foot facility on Arnold Street in Kitchener, a place that served as our base of operations for over two decades. In 2017, we relocated to a larger, modern facility on Hollinger Crescent, more than doubling our shop and office spaces to better serve our clients and accommodate our growing team.
From a modest two-person operation to a thriving company of 14 to 18 employees, our team includes licensed sheet metal journeypersons, apprentices, and a dedicated office staff. We take pride in every member of our team, who bring skill, professionalism, and enthusiasm to every project.
ESM’s success is built on lasting partnerships. We’re proud to have established enduring relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, industrial manufacturers, and engineering firms—many of which have spanned over 25 years. These collaborations have allowed us to contribute to high-profile projects, such as the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Building, the Kitchener Auditorium Expansion, advanced ventilation and dust collection systems at Kuntz Electroplating, and the recent redevelopment of Winston Park Long-Term Care in Kitchener.
As we look toward the future, ESM is excited to continue our journey with a fresh, dynamic team of skilled sheet metal workers, apprentices, and managers. Together, we are ready to meet your sheet metal, HVAC, and dust collection needs with the same commitment, quality, and innovation that have defined us for over three decades.
